While UltimatePoker.com is only available to Nevada residents located in Nevada at this point, it has set the stage for what is likely to be a rapidly expanding market.

The parent company of online poker site PokerStars has put in a bid to buy the brick & mortar based The Atlantic Club Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This appears to be the first time an online-only gambling site operator has attempted to buy a land-based operation.
